Comet Goldfish

The Comet Goldfish is a simple flat body goldfish type (Ordinary Type). It looks very much like a common goldfish but is longer and sleeker.

The fins are proportionately twice as long as the common goldfish. Their tail fin is exceptionally beautiful sometimes as large or larger than their bodies.

Max Length: 14 inches

Temperature: 36-90 degrees Fahrenheit

Color: Metallic Orange, White, Yellow, Red

Care Level: Easy

These goldfish are excellent Pond or Aquarium goldfish as they are very hardy and great swimmers.

Fun Fact: They are the only variety to have originated in the United States and are featured in the Reflecting Pond on the Mall in Washington D.C.
